As sports car enthusiasts, we love to enhance our cars with extras and improvements to make them unique.
Alloy Wheels
Alloy wheels are the single most important addition to your car. Whilst most sports cars will now feature Alloys as standard, even before you place your order you'll no doubt be offered a selection of wheels to choose from.
The standard Celica 190 in the UK features 16" wheels but two different styles of 17" are available for an extra £1000 or so. In our opinion, these manufacturers extras are often too highly priced and you'll be better off looking at the after market for such enhancements.
However, do check out full details of aftermarket Kit. If you've spent over £70,000 on a Porsche then maybe the it's worth putting the right wheels on it. These 17" wheels fitted are considerably lighter than the equivalent after-market ones, and lightness is a key feature of car wheels.
Car Audio
We're looking forward to the day when all manufacturers offer high quality audio as standard, or at least as an option on their vehicles. Whilst some like Porsche, Audi and Mercedes now offer Bose sound systems (at a price) we've yet to find a single company offering features such as digital radio (DAB) on even their latest, high spec cars. For this reason, we tend to buy the minimum audio components we need on a car, and then upgrade to a superior system such as this Pioneer head unit which can control Mini Disks, CDs and a DAB unit.
