This month's Cars-Cars-Cars Consumer Report features the Celica T-Sport. Although the first impression is of flats and angles, the subtle curves of the body can be seen on closer inspection.  The car is slightly wider across the front wings, then cuts in at the passenger compartment only to flare back out again towards the rear.
 

And it isn't just fast - Toyota's brilliant little performer was recently awarded top place for reliability in Top Gear's 2002 car awards.  The Celica was also voted top coupe, and took 13th place for overall satisfaction.  Given the competition at the top end of this table, this is a great result.  Toyota also took top place for the Lexus IS200, which was designed by the same team as the Celica, 5th overall for the Yaris and 12th for the MR2.  The Toyota Corolla came 20th and no other manufacturer had anywhere near this number of vehicles in the top 20.  Well done Toyota.
