NEW 2003 PORSCHE BOXSTER

Porsche have revised their Boxster range, adding more power and improved features without increasing the list prices!  Accessory prices have increased by 1% though.  Considering that there's a 12 month waiting list for the brilliant little roadster, and that the company can sell every single car they can make, we're slightly surprised by this apparent generosity.

New features include an improved roof with four supports to give a better shape and to incorporate a glass rear screen.

The Boxster S features this new design Alloy Wheel, though Carrera Turbo replicas are available as an upgrade.

Standard colours include the Speed Yellow above and the amazing Red below.

A range of metalics and special paints to your choice are also available.

An optional hardtop (shown on the red car above) gives you two cars for your money, and there are some pretty extreme bodykit options available if you want to stand out from the crowd even more!

There are are also minor bodywork changes, clear indicator lenses, re-positioned air intakes, and most importantly more power and improved fuel economy.   Wow!

Boxster Survey Results

Porsche stole another accolade this month by taking 4th place in the Top Gear car survey 2002 for the Boxster.  No other sports car came close, though the MR2s 12th place was very creditable for a car costing considerably less than the Boxster.

Most of the other cars in the top places were saloons, though the Toyota Celica was awarded 12th place, and came top for reliability, despite it's awesome, but highly strung Variable Valve Timing and Lift (VVTL-i) engine.
